Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri — the Himalayan Chhota Char Dham of Uttarakhand. We arrange the full circuit: darshan, helicopter and palki, stay and assistance.
The Chhota Char Dham of Uttarakhand — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — is the most beloved Himalayan pilgrimage circuit, traditionally undertaken from west to east. The shrines open around Akshaya Tritiya (late April / May) and close near Diwali, when winter seals the high passes. Two of the four are sources of India's holiest rivers, and Kedarnath is also one of the twelve Jyotirlingas.
The classic grand Char Dham named by Adi Shankaracharya spans the four corners of India — Badrinath (north), Rameswaram (south), Dwarka (west) and Puri (east); we arrange darshan across all of these too. The route below is the Uttarakhand circuit most pilgrims mean by "Char Dham yatra".
The northern Char Dham, dedicated to Lord Vishnu as Badri Narayan, on the banks of the Alaknanda beneath Neelkanth peak. Opens around Akshaya Tritiya; the Tapt Kund hot springs precede darshan.
A Jyotirlinga and Char Dham shrine at 3,583 m, reached by a 16 km trek (or pony/palki/helicopter) from Gaurikund. One of the most revered and demanding pilgrimages in India.
The origin shrine of the sacred Ganga, dedicated to the goddess Ganga, near the Gaumukh glacier source. The white temple sits beside the rushing Bhagirathi.
The source shrine of the Yamuna and the goddess Yamuna, reached by a trek from Janki Chatti. Rice is cooked in the Surya Kund hot spring and offered as prasad.
From e-registration to helicopter slots, stay and an elder-friendly pace — we arrange the whole circuit so you focus on darshan.
